Mathew J Adamarek 91, of Manchester, NH died on February 26, 2016 at the Elliot Hospital. Mr Adamarek, was born in Manchester,NH on April 20, 1924 and was the son of Karol and Anna (Kukla) Adamarek. He was a graduate of Manchester Central High School class of 1942A and played baseball and was a pitcher. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the US Army in the European Theatre and received a bronze star and infantryman combat badge. He had served in the 66th Infantry Div as a staff sergeant.

Mr Adamarek, was a member of Holy Trinity Cathedral and held memberships in P.N.C.C., American Legion Post #2 Sweeney, PACC and Polish Veterans Association.


Prior to his retirement he had been employed as a shoe cutter for many years. Owner and operator of the Fairlane Ballroom in Hooksett, NH and retired from Jaskolka’s Egg Farm Inc. Auburn, NH.   He was an avid Red Sox fan for many years.


Members of his family include his nephew Daniel E Jaskolka and his wife Diane of Candia, NH. Also grandnephew Matthew Jaskolka, grandniece JoAnna Jaskolka and great grandniece Stella J McCue.

He was predeceased by a sister Julia Stephanick.


Service: A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 AM in Holy Trinity Cemetery Goffstown Rd Goffstown, NH. With Rt Rev Paul Sobiechowski, officiating.
